The new voices at United Nations

November 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment

On September 23, 2008 - the world saw two persons of great moral integrity at the 63rd meeting of United Nations General Assembly in New York. One was an Iranian academic-turned politician, the President of Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – and the other was a Catholic priest-turned politician, Rev. Miguel D’Escoto Brokmann 75, the former Foreign Affiar Minister of Nicaragua, who was elected the new President of the United Nations General Assembly. It was the same General Assembly, which blocked the entrance of Islamic Iran in the Security Council as a non-permanent member under the US pressure.

Rev. Brockman was excommunicated by late John Paul II – with the blessings of the new Pope (then Cardinal) Ratzinger (nicknamed as ‘the Nazi Pope’ by Zionist bloggers). He also escaped a poisoning attempt by CIA. He was criticized by both the US and Israeli diplomats for criticizing American imperialism and hugging Ahmadinejad after his finished his speech.

In response to Ahmadinejad’s remarks during his speech at UN – “The Zionist regime is on a definite slope to collapse….. A small but deceitful number of people called Zionists are dominating important financial and political decision-making in the United States and some European countries” – the president and a former Zionist terrorist, Shimon Peres, in his address at UN called Ahmadinejad (as usual), for spouting the darkest antiSemitic libel (though the great majority of world’s 13.5 million Jewry is not Semite but Khazarian Turks) – while extending his hands for friendship with King of Saudi Arabia and President of Syria.

In an interview published on October 23, 2008 – Miguel D’Escoto Brockmann called the US worse than Islamic Iran when it comes to violation of UN resolutions.

Several American Jewish lobby groups slammed Miguel D’Escoto for attending an Iftar dinner given in honor of the visiting President of Islamic Republic of Iran – by the World Council of Churches and United Nations.
