Islam – The complete way of life

“There is no compulsion in religion,” – Holy Qur’an

The above Qur’anic message means that acceptance of Islam is on pure voluntary basis – but once a person enters the fold of Islam, he or she must submit his or her life to three main pillars of Islam – Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s (pbuh) Seerah and Islamic Shari’ah. He or she is not at liberty to change or take options to the ‘Rules of Islamic Conduct’ described in those three pillars.

Though Holy Qur’an confirms that several earlier prophets received divine Scriptures and Books (Zaboor, Torah, and Injeel), but most of those revelations were corrupted by human hands later-on, which has been proven, now, by even Christian sources. For example:

The New Testament was written by Christians for Christians; it was moreover written in Greek for Greek speaking communities. The New Testament in very early times had not canonical authority, and alterations and additions were actually made where they seemed improvements,” – Encyclopaedia Biblica, Vol. IV, p. 4980.

Eighty percents of sayings and parables attributed to Jesus in the Bible are either false or possibly so; and the remaining twenty percent sayings and parables are true or possible true,” – The Jesus Seminar, conducted by California-based Westar Institute, head by NT renown authority, Dr. Robert Funk DDD.

50,000 Errors in the Bible, headline in the Jehovah’s Witness magazine, AWAKE!, on September 6, 1957.

Muslims believe those verses in the Bible, which are confirmed in Holy Qur’an – to be true divine message received by the biblical prophets.

Islam is different from all other religions, which were revealed to tribes, nations – and none of them had universal message or addressed each and every aspect of human life. Their message was usually moral conduct with no concept how to establish a dominion of the Creator on Earth. That’s why Allah, the Creator, called Islam in His Last Testament (Holy Qur’an), as DEEN, which means “The Way of Life”. Islam demands from its Believers, a total submission to Him – from birth to grave – in faith, inter-action with other communities, and State affairs. No man-made doctrine, such as, Socialism, Secularism, Capitalism or western-style democracy is fully compatiable with Islamic teachings.

The main objective of Islamic teachings is to make no distinction between the spiritual and secular fields in life. Its aim is to mould both individual lives as well as society as a whole in ways that will ensure the Rule of Allah be established on Earth and that peace, contentment and well-being for humanity may fill the world. The Islamic way of of life is thus based on a unique concept of human-being’s place in the Universe.
