It’s dangerous to be a Muslim in America

On October 21 the major Zionist-controlled mainstream media outlets, such as, The New York Times, AP, Fox News, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Time magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, Jihad Watch, etc. – ran sensational news item on how the FBI has arrested a Sudbury (Massachusetts) man, Tarek Mehanna, on charges of terrorist activities – ranging from “plotting to shoot up a mall”, kill US troops fighting oversea, and kill assassinate US officials” and “conspiring to support terrorists by seeking training from Islamic extremist fighters oversea”….. And the best part of the allegation: “He failed to get access to automatic weapons”!! Now even an American idiot would tell you that purchasing an automatic weapon (AK-47, AR-15, Uzi assault weapons, etc.) is no problem in the US.

The pro-Israel mainstream media outlets and the top anti-Muslim propagandists have succeeded in creating an image of Islam and Muslims, that of what Noam Chomsky refers to as manufacturing consent about non-existence of violation of the law. It’s not the first time that the FBI has accused Tariq Mehanna of such cooked-up crimes. The impact of this ‘Islamophobe’ propaganda bombardment can be seen by banning professor Noam Chomsky’s ( a pro-Israel Jewish intellectual and anti-war activist) book ‘Interventions’. US Navy spokesman Lt. Commander Brook DeWalt told the Miami Herald: “Interventions might negatively impact on (Gitmo’s) good order and discipline.” We all know how the western supporters of “freedom of thought” were pissed-off on Imam Khomeini’s ‘fatwa’ against Salman Rushdie’s blasphemous book. In history, the greater ‘books burners’ and anti-freedom-of-thought have been the western colonists or mass murderers. It were the US invasion forces which burned the Baghdad’s main library in 2003, and Adolf Hitler is credited with banning over 4000 books.

Stephen Lendman has posted an article, titled Tariq Mehanna: Obama\’s Latest Muslim Target (October 26, 2009), in which he wrote:

“Post-9/11 Muslims have been victimized, vilified, and persecuted for their faith, ethnicity, prominence, activism and charity. Yhey’ve been targetted, hunted down, rounded up, held in detention, kept in isolation, denied bail, restricted in their right to counsel, tried on secret evidence, convicted on bogus charges, given long sentences, then incarcerated for extra harsh treatment as political prisoners in segregated Communication Management Units (CMUs) in violation of US Prison Bureauregulation and the Supreme Court’s February 2005 Johnson vs California decision.

Whenever Muslims are charged, the dominant media provides support without ever questioning the legitimacy of accusations. As a result, innocent victims are vilified. They’re presumed guilty unless proved innocent. Fear is instilled in the public, while law enforcement officials are portrayed as public defenders, working to keep us safe from bad guys.

Tariq Mehanna with no previous criminal record – has been described by his friends and family as a matureing Muslim community leader, a pssionate writer, and a young man wanting a career in Saudi Arabia as a pharmacist, not a jihadist, even though he supports the right of oppressed people to resist as international law allows. In the Kingdom he was promised a good pay, generous benefits, and free trip home. He was boarding a plane in Boston en route when he was arrested.

In a Summer 2009 interview with the Boston Globe and subsequent his statementst through his lawyer, he denied FBI allegations and accused Federal investigators of targetting him with bogus charges because they wanted him as a government informer, pressure him to accede, but he refused and wouldn’t cooperate. That made him suspect, an enemy, and got him targeted.

It’s no surprise why it’s dangerous to be a Muslim in America at a time when we’re all as vulnerable as Tariq Mehanna.”
